Dave was a super cool guy.  He lived across the street from my first wife, Marilyn Geiger.  I remember his car was a 57 or 58 Ford boxtop style.  He loved surfing and cooking, and last I remember he was moving to Hawaii to be a chef.

Dave was friends to everyone.

Regarding Dave Daniels...

I echo the comments made by Bob Shaffer about Dave Daniels. It was a '57 Ford, Bob. I remember one night, many years ago, he let me have the car one evening. Wow! Even to this day, I'm still impressed with his trust to let me take that car for a night!

As I recall, his family had a meat market business somewhere on State Street, near the boundary line of SG and HP.

Yes, I was truly saddened to see Dave's name on the list of those who have left us. Too many of our classmates are gone! I'm shocked to see so many names on that list.

RIP, Dave..., you gave me a memory I'll never forget - getting to drive that beautiful, white '57 Ford for a night, as if it were my own.   swj

SHOTGUN, Boy, I cried that out so many times ,trying to secure passenger front seat in Dave's 57 Ford. So much fun with a car full of your friends, cruising up & down Twetty blvd. Dave had a 45 record player hooked up with vibrasonic sound. How cool were we. He was a great guy & friend. He was always happy with a smile on his face. I'm sorry that time takes us in so many diffent directions, that we loose contact with some our best friends. In those days, I can say, Dave was one of my best friends. I'll miss him more now , knowing that he is gone, & just not a friend that I lost contact with. God Bless you and keep you Dave Daniels. Your friend Dave Duran

I did not know Dave well, though saw him so often working at his dad and uncle's grocery/butcher shop store!

It was on California and Santa Ana.  I shopped there often!  All of the Daniel's family were so nice!  So polite and great people!

I remember Johnny Daniels his older brother (cousin?) and many, many pranks that he played!

It is so sad to see so many of our classmates that are no longer with us!
