Rolf introduced me to Soccer which we played with a Kickball not a soccer ball and he was a great placekicker on our football team. He maintained a great work ethic and I remember he as a very good academic student as well. A good friend.
I REMEMBER WHEN ROLF CAME TO OUR SCHOOL. HE WAS A VERY NICE GUY AND I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW GOOD HE WAS IN SOCCER. HE OUTSHINED ALL OF US. IF I REMEMBER RIGHT ROLF HAD MOVED TO SOUTH GATE FROM GERMANY. HE REALLY WAS AN AMAZING PERSON. RIP OLE' FRIEND.
I remember Rolf in our Agriculture class at SGJHS, he spoke almost no english at that time, but I found him to very smart and friendly guy. Became a good placekicker for SGHS too with his soccer background.
