In Memory

Joan Gilliam (Beaver)

Although Joan did not join our website, we remember her during our early high school years and are saddened by her passing.  She did not graduate with our class but attended high school with us for most of our high school years. She and P. D. "Pinkie" Beaver, Class of 1959, married and have been married for over 50 years.  She fought a courageous battle with lung cancer for several years.  She left loved ones and friends all too early!  She is survived by her husband and son, Ron, brother-in-law, Ron Beaver, who is in our class, sister-in-law, Carol Kelley Beaver, Class of 1963.  May she rest in peace.

I remember Joan very well - was just thinking about her the other day.  So sad to hear of her passing.  Good-bye my fellow classmate.
