Mike was a phenomenal guy and, to many of us, he was bigger than life!  He set up our Reunion website and was the Administrator until his untimely passing on May 28, 2012--just short of three months before our 50th Reunion.  He had a passion for our website, making it the best possible, and spending hour upon hour welcoming each and everyone who joined, offering ever-ready help and encouragement!  He looked forward to, what he would always call, our "Golden Reunion!" His passing left a huge void--not just because of the website, but because of the incredible friend and encourager he was to so many of us!!! 

Mike had suffered with atrial fibrilation and heart disease for many years, but it didn't stop his enthusiasm, optimistic outlook, and love of country, family and life!    Mike will be dearly missed by his wife, Susan, the love of his life; mother, Wanda Cairns (passed away 1/15/2013); daughters, Jennifer Sinclair and Erin Nordholm; son, Kelly Cairns; granddaughters, Brytini Sinclair Tunstall and Sophie Rose Nordholm; sister, Susan Cairns (S'65) Risley; aunt, Bonnie Knight and 11 first cousins and all those who met and loved him!  We were blessed to have Mike's mom, Wanda, and sister, Susan, attended our Golden Reunion in his honor!

Mike attended USC, East LA, and graduated from Cal Baptist in Riverside with his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Computer Infomation Systems.  Mike loved everything with computers and we are ever-grateful for his work on our Reunion website!  Mike was a great friend to everyone!!
