Bill went to the same church as me. He was always very quiet. In ninth grade he asked me to attend the DeMolay dance at the Shrine auditorium. It was my first formal. I remember being very nervous and scared. We did dance a little and talked a little. He was always a gentleman.
I attended elementary school with Bill and he lived near me. As Sue shared, he was always quiet and was nice. Always very serious and I remember he was competitive in sports (at least in elementary school). I think I remember that he was in gymnastics in high school.
I remember his blond hair always cut in a flat-top.
Bill was a quiet guy, a little shy, but such a good guy. We also attended church and activities together. A funny story about Bill, a girl friend of mine had a huge crush on Bill, she never accomplished her goal of capturing his heart, so she was saving up her tears in a little bottle. 😥 I won't mention her name, but she is class of 62.
RIP Bill, you are missed but not forgotten.
