I remember when Jack came to Bryson Avenue Elementary School. He was VERY cute and it was fun to say his last name...Mak-e-don-sky! He was a very nice guy and stayed as nice and handsome as ever through high school, although I didn't really know him well! So sad...you will be missed!
I spoke to Jack on the phone a couple of times before the 50th reunion party in 2012. We had a good time reminiscing about school days. I had always remembered what a talented artist he was. He drew the most beautiful and accurate gladiolas in a class in elementary school. He did not remember that. He was proud of the career he had in sales and thought that was his real talent. He was retired and living with his wife in Phoenix, AZ. He hinted that his health wasn't good but did not share what was wrong or focus on that part of his life at all. He was responsible for helping me find 3 of his winter class friends who did attend the party. I was appreciative of that. My regret is that I didn't talk to him after the party to fill him in but I believe one of his friends sent him a picture book, and I am sure he enjoyed seeing it.
