So sad to hear about Lee's passing. I remember Lee and Lyn were really nice guys in high school--not easy to tell apart! My prayers are with the family, especially Bernadette, as this is so close to their 45th wedding anniversary. May the Lord comfort you and your precious family.
Lee was very quiet & had a somewhat wry sense of humor.I was talking to him 1 day(I was 5'2")& i asked him to bend his knees a little to come down to my level & he said"No,you need to grow to my level".He will be dearly missed. My prayers are with Bernadette & his boys.REST IN PEACE.
It is hard to believe Lee has now left us. First lyn and now this. Both were good friends and bowling partners with me. I still remember when Lee picked up a seven ten split. We thought we would never hear the end of that. But, when Bob Christy averaged over 200 in league play, we told Lee his big moment was over. ha. I wish I had kept more in contact with them and now they are gone. I know Lee will be missed as Lyn was. Rest in peace and my thoughts go out to lee's family. Bowling friends forever. Rick
It is difficult to accept that we've lost another special classmate. I remember a lot of fun times with both Lee and Lyn, bowling, playing basketball, and just hanging out. I still have a photo of Lee and me at Disneyland during our Grad Nite party- I will treasure it always. I haven't seen either of the Beckstroms since 1962, but now I realize I miss them. Thanks for the memories...
This is Tim - Lee's son. Just wanted to say thanks to all who've written in on my dad's page here with their kind words. My mother, brother and I really appreciate the thoughts and wonderful memories. He had a great 6 years of retirement and I'm glad he enjoyed it. On retirement, he loved to say -- "I highly recommend it." haha.
He also enjoyed his high school years playing basketball with his twin, Lyn (Don), and the Brewster twins as well as all the neighborhood guys and bowling buddies. I'm thankful he had great years and lived a great life.
